Afia Schwarzenegger shocks Mahama!

Ghanaian Socialite, presenter and comedienne, Afia Schwarzenegger has shocked former president Mahama by openly endorsing and canvassing for president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as he laces his boots to contest in the 2020 elections.

Sharing a video of herself on social media, Afia Schwarzenegger did not even try to shy away from the fact that she’s so close to the former president. Rather, she made it clear that she would have preferred that Ghanaians vote for the former president.

But Afia Schwarzenegger then quickly added that, but for free SHS which her kids are enjoying, she would rather urge everyone to vote for president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to continue the free SHS policy which is in its third year of implementation now.

Not only that: the controversial Afia Schwarzenegger also referred to the free water and electricity announced by the president as part of the COVID-19 relief package for the people of Ghana. For Afia, that is also a good reason to give president Akufo-Addo another four years to steer the affairs of the country.

Afia Schwarzenegger’s twin sons who are currently in their third year in senior high school, were reportedly sacked recently for leaving campus without permission. The school authorities insisted that the duo had violated laid down procedure regarding the handling of COVID-19 in senior high schools, and that they would have to be quarantined. It is not known how the problem was resolved, neither is it clear if it has anything to do with Afia Schwarzenegger’s surprise decision to back president Akufo-Addo’s second term bid for the presidency.

One thing that is however certain is that former president John Mahama would be surprised to lose the support of one of his big fans in such a manner and at such a time.

Below is the video of Afia Schwarzenegger endorsing president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo:
