Ghanaian millionaire and socialite, Ibrah One, has said that he believes the dreaded coronavirus disease is in Ghana already, except that poor technology is making it impossible for ‘our medical experts’ to confirm it.
Making a post on social media, Ibrah One said some hospital in Ghana can’t diagnose common malaria, and questioned why anyone would think such hospitals would be able to detect this strange virus (coronavirus).
He however said Ghana can only confirm the coronavirus disease if someone very big is infected.
“Ghana can confirm coronavirus if someone very big in the country gets infected. How can they know if someone in the Zongo [has] the virus,” he questioned.
Giving reasons for his claims, Ibrah One wondered how someone who cannot even afford three square meals a day would ever dream of going to the hospital for a medical checkup.
Summing up, Ibrah One decried the Ghanaian technology level as being “far behind” and emphatically alleged the coronavirus disease is in Ghana.
“Our technology level is far behind. The virus is in Ghana.
Ghana has two world class facilities that are able to test for and detect the coronavirus disease. These are the Noguchi Memorial Institute and the Kumasi Center for Collaborative Research (KCCR).
