If you think the days of unhelpful political rivalries and unnecessary partisan competitions are over, then think again.

This is because the phenomena are still very much alive and are often manifested by otherwise highly placed political actors in the Ghanaian political landscape.

One such actors is the Honourable MP for Sunyani West, Ignatius Baffour Awuah.

Mr. Baffour Awuah, who is also the minister for Employment and Labour Relations, is reported to have stormed a construction site and ordered a grader operator to stop working to reshape the Kwabenakuma road in Nsuatre in the Bono Region.

The grader operator, according to kkb@arknewsroom.com, was engaged by the NDC Parliamentary Candidate of the area on Wednesday, January 8, 2020, to reshape the road to make it motorable for her constituents.

Madam Millicent Amankwaah, the NDC Parliamentary Candidate, it is understood engaged the services of the grader operator as part of her efforts to show gratitude to the Nsuatre Traditional Council for their support which saw her emerge as winner in the NDC parliamentary primary.

However, unknown to the NDC parliamentary candidate and the hapless operator, the minister got wind of the development and ordered that the operator stop work immediately.

Mr. Baffour Awuah is said to have then engaged another grader operator to complete the reshaping of the road with a different grader.
